    Saw IV

I went to see this last night with a friend. She had already seen 30 Days of Night, which I wanted to see, but since she hadn't seen Saw IV, I suggested it even though I had no real desire to see it. I've seen the other 3 movies.

All in all it's better than Saw III, I guess. The plot was decent, and the whole mystery of who it is was decent, but at this point the twists are kind of expected and played out. I didn't really find it to be scary, just a bit gory. I don't think it was a waste of my $7 admission, but certainly wouldn't pay and see it multiple times. If you've seen/liked the other Saw movies, you'll most likely like this one. I'd give it a rent or watch it when it comes to the premium channels.

I saw previews for I am Legend, The Mist, and the new Rambo movie, all of which I'll probably go see in the theater. Also saw a preview for Beowulf, which I'm still undecided on how I feel about it.

I always loved the novel. I want the movie to be good but right now I'm thinking it's going to be bad.

Yeah, that's why I'm undecided on it. I think it'll probably be a decent popcorn action type movie, but I'm just going to dislike it as an adaptation of Beowulf.

If you watch wrestling, they showed about 8 MILLION previews of this on Monday night, to the point that I won't watch it now just out of spite! Serenity now...serenity now...
