    Conference Championship Predictions

Those who keep predicting the Patriots to win every game by three touchdowns might be surprised to learn that they have haven't covered a spread since Week 14; they're 2-6 against the spread in their last eight.

    30-21 New England.

Including last week, Green Bay has put up 30 points ten times this year.

    28-17 Green Bay.

I am guilty of picking New England to cover each week, and have lost a few recently. That being said:

    Pats 38
    Chargers 10

    Giants 27
    Packers 24

    My predictions:

    Patriots 45
    Chargers 17

    Packers 30
    Giants 24

I'm rooting for Eli but I don't see it happening as beat up as they are and playing @ GB.

First off, I'll say that even though I hate the Cowboys and wanted the Chargers to beat the Colts, the matchups would be much better and more exciting if the results were switched around in those two games.

I'll go with the two heavy favorites. Pats 34-24 over the Chargers, Packers 31-13 over the Giants.

My Lord, while I think the Packers will win I don't see them blowing the Giants out. They (Giants) are a disgusting 9-1 on the road this season including playoffs. Their one loss on the road was vindicated last week. I expect a close game with the Pack pulling it out in the end.

Are they actually holding an AFC game? I wasn't aware.... ;-)

I can't see the Chargers offense doing anything this week with L.T. Rivers and Gates injured. They may all play but are still injured against the best team in the league and maybe the best team ever. The Chargers only hope is there defense and their defense does intercept the ball alot. Still can't see the Chargers beating the Pats.

    Pats 38 Chargers 14

    Packers 30 Giants 21

Packers over Giants, Patriots over Chargers.
Final scores? I have no earthly idea. I expect GB/NY to be close, with the weather having a hand in the outcome. NE/SD could be a blowout. Too many injury-related variables to really know yet.

Farve v. New England in the Superbowl will be one big game.

I kind of want the Giants to win though because I called them the SB winner in week 6, and would get some serious rep from some of my friends if that happened.

That's not even close to being true.
