That's kinda what I was getting at. Kinda like the Ravens and the Harbaugh hiring, it broke the night before but they purposefully scheduled the presser for later the next day.

I already hate the deal. Sounds like I'll hate it even more. My honest prediction is:

Jones/Clement/Tillman/?

Probably someone good. I can already see the M's saying they have Johjima, so Clement is expendable.

Yeah but we have the best C prospect in the majors coming up, so he's not really a need for us either, unless we have somewhere else to deal him.

Flipping Clement and Murton if we got them both to SD for Antonelli and Kouzmanoff would be pretty cool though.

Honestly the only thing that will ultimately keep me from switching to another team/losing interest in baseball is Felix. If he ever goes, bye bye M's. I'm tired of Bavasi and his dumb trades. Soriano for Horacio? COME ON. UGGh.

I understand you hate to watch prospects move on, but Bedard is the real deal. He is a little goofy but his curve ball will win the MAriner fans over. We need to get excited about a young group of guys. Let's hope it works out for all of us.
