Him striking out 8-10 a game and dominating pretty much every time he goes out with 15 wins will help your team catch up with the Angels, I"m gonna miss watching his dominance, but I'm also glad we finally pulled the trigger!!!

Have some faith buddy, they are an injury away from finishing behind you guys. Unless they make a trade for some younger, healthier offense, you have a great shot. Just hope Sexson snaps out of it.

This is great news if true. I have off for the next 2 days so I can scan all of the sports channels on the web and tv. BUT I believe it when I see it (or Hear it)!!!

churchill said the mariners offered jones/tillman/sherrill but if sherrill is not in it maybe 2 of butler/chen/tui were substituted for sherrill which makes the 4 for 1 deal.

I'm pumped about this on both ends. Although I'm definitely an O's fan first and foremost, I like the Mariners and I'm glad to see Bedard end up there. They'll be very fun to follow. Ichiro is exciting as hell to watch.

To Seattle fans: Good luck with the Angels. I'll be rooting for you. And if things go well, please take care of the AL East monsters while you're at it.

    re

yeah - sadly some of our fans were content to wait 4-5 years for all our prospects to develop and then decide to really play baseball again I never got it to be honest. I am pleasantly happy with this trade - I will enjoy having a dominant pitcher on the team again. I think Erik can only help Felix and hopefully they become pretty good friends and can be a 1-2 punch for the next 5-7 years for the M's.

I say horray for AP if this goes as we read about the 4 for 1. Hate to lose any of our young players.

Hope Sexson snaps out of it....ha. I'm glad this is Sexson's last year as a M(hopefully).

I don't think the M's will overtake the Angels though. The Angels have already improved more than the M's have this offseason.

You should at least be happy your team is trying to win. We haven't had a winning season in 10 years!
Also, he broke the record for team strikeouts in a shortened season. Considering we're the only team to ever have a staff of 20-game winners, I'd say that's pretty damn impressive.

I'm excited, yet... for some here the smiling faces could become less so, if it is a 3 for one, Jones, Tillman, 3rd (Sherrill/Chen). Let's see who we got first.

Adding Bedard makes the M's offseason better than the Angels IMO. He is going to put some crazy pitching numbers in that pitchers park you have there.

I'm going on a limb and saying the final deal is Jones, Clement/Truinfel, Tillman and Chen.
