I don't think there's a chance in hell Roberts gets traded. My opinion.

He should have woke up after he let Gillick go that he was a horrible owner who just needs to butt the hell out of baseball matters. HE'S NOT A BASEBALL PERSON!! Bottom line he needs to stop acting like he knows what he's doing cause 10 years of losing season outta be a hint to him that he simply sucks!

Man, I understand this is a message board and people will vent their frustration, but some people are acting like PA is the Anti-Christ and wishing he would die

This is still the same guy who fought for the rights of workers being poisioned by asbestos, and took the stand that he would not field a team of replacement players so that Cal's streak could be preserved. Maybe PA is in bad health and he wants to see if the O's have a shot at this thing without rebuilding. It's not like he is intentionally trying to find ways to make the O's lose.

Anyway, I understand the anger but some people on here really need to get some perspective and understand that baseball (even the O's) are not life and death

I gotta agree. If Angelos has this much hesitations about trading Bedard and deal for a fan favorite like Roberts will NEVER happen.

I don't care if he promised or not, you guys aren't best friends or family. Why does your opinion mean anything to anyone here? People need to get over themselves and be thankful that anyone says they know an insider. Other than that we would all be talking about nothing more than signing Corey Patterson or the next talent we overevaluate.

ANgelos just keeps hammering the old truth home. He is still in control of this team no matter who is "in charge."

    We're doomed.

This does not change the fact that he is the worst owner in all of sports and has single handedly run this franchise into the ground, and turned Camden Yards into a ghost town unless Boston or New York is in town.

I may have just overlooked it, but is there a chance that Angelos has sent McPhail back to the table to get better players in return ?

Like many others I have to wonder just what Angelos is thinking.
Bring in AM allow him to post in the media that he is going about rebuilding the team and has full autonmy. Then not once but possibly twice let the entire fanbase and MLB in general get the impression that Angelos is still making all decisions.

Watch, wait and never get straight info. That seems to be the way of the fan in O's land.
    Sometimes this is madening.
    Go O's

Could Angelos and AM be playing bad guy/good guy to Bavasi?

The result's the same. The man has ruined this franchise.I'm not interested in his good points. He's ruined this franchise. Angelos is the worst owner in the Game, and maybe in professional sports.

At least Robert Irsay put us out of our misery by moving the team.

No offense to anyone, especially peace whose input and tibits I love, but the way this offseason has gone, this all probably means bedard is gone tomorrow
