Wow, wow, wow. I want all of my time spent on OH back. I love reading the info, but this organization is so frustrating it is beyond belief. If only AM could have taken Angelos' acceptance, turned his cell phone off and done the trade, that would have been great.

That just seems incredibly bizarre to me. I really think your guy was misinformed, because obviously the O's FO wouldn't inform him of something like that taking place, so he got it third hand. Also, if a deal really had been reached, Bedard would have been THE FIRST to have heard about it. There is definitely something strange afoot but I dont think ANYONE really knows what going on at this point and its all too easy to pin it on PGA, when it could be any number of things.

In other news, there's a team not so far away that is building up quite a bit of nice young talent with a brand new stadium to boot.
I have my tickets already hased for the Nats. And being I live 15 minutes from Baltimore and 40 minutes from DC that is saying something.

I know this is right out of a conspiracy movie worthy of Oliver Stone, but the only big move Angelos has agreed to in years was Tejada and that was pushed through the day before the Mitchell report was released. Was Angelos tipped off about Tejada's notoriety in that report and that got the deal done? He doesn't nearly have the attachment to Bedard that he had for Tejada. I can not possibly come out with a rational explanation for him to pull the plug on a deal that MacPhail worked hard to pull together. The leopard can't change its spots.

Yup...if this played out like Peace is saying, I'd love for Andy to call a press conference tomorrow and be very vague about it...then just go off.

People still think a deal will happen even though Angelos nixed this one. Bavasi still wants Bedard. Lets not forget the Cubs deal died too and it was revived.

The Houston to Tejada rumors had been shot down as well and then he was traded.

    There is still hope...

My only hope then is that his sons and his estate will not be able to afford the estate taxes like Jack Kent Cooke's sons and they are forced to sell becuase I must admit if PGA truly killed this deal I have had enough of this crap. I could never root for another team but I am also not sure that I can root for this one anymore.

As much as it pains me to say this I am tried of getting smacked in the face by this owner and expecting anything different.

Anyone still rushing to buy O's tickets?! Peter doesn't deserve any fan support. Let Oriole Park rot and become a ghost town.

if that is true - one has to ask.....why do there fools even bother to hire someone to run baseball operations?

Havent we all learned not to jump to any conclusions on here? Especially the insiders, who are even contradicting each other now. Dont we see no one knows what the hell is going on?

Why do we keep believing every single insider post? Just let the damn thing unfold already. Supposed insiders are getting dissed all over the place and so are we. Get over it

If this is true (Honestly I don't believe it) I will not order MLB.tv this season. I will take a year off from baseball. I can't root for another team, but I guess I can always root against the Yankees.

For pretty much the first time ever, I sort of have a source on this one. My father has heard from a pretty decent source that Angelos is not going to sell the team plans to hand the reigns over to his son John.

I agree there is still hope for this trade and/or the Roberts trade. It's just the fact that Angelos has that much control shows that there is little hope in the overall improvement of the club.
