I mean this generally, not against you TyCobb; however, for the record, I really hope his "leak" isn't held negatively against Jones. He seems like a great guy who's saying all of the right things and just wants an opportunity to compete. In an age of primaddonas and malcontents, it's a breath of fresh air to come across a talented young athlete who seems like a great guy. He's just a little green and spoke too soon, that's all.

There was really nothing wrong with his comments. He was polite and sounded excited. Who ever informed him of the deal probably should have told him to keep a lid on it. One has to wonder if they purposely did not tell him in order to give the Orioles a push. They under estimated the Napolean complex of PGA. I think you are right. He seems like a great kid. It is the owner who is a jerk.

I agree with your comment and note I did say maybe. Bedard is certainly reticent. Your right, he has been a very good performer for the O's so let's take the high road in regards to his personality.
