    Apparently this has been in the works for a while now. Pat had been doing most of the coaching according to some of the guys at ESPN. Coach Knight has been really disappointed in the lack of fan support recently. He's certainly left a mark and hopefully this isn't health related.

    I never could have played for Bob Knight - waaaaay too abrasive for me. And I've never been a fan of his really at all. But his legacy - from 900 wins, to Coach K, to the 76 Hoosiers, and beyond - is undeniable.

    I'd hate to be the guy filling his shoes, especially as his son. Just ask Mike Davis what its like to follow the guy...

    Yea, he was the Anti-Coach Smith as far as abrasiveness goes. Can't argue with the results though.

    Is Coach Knight coming back to Indiana? Sampson will be gone by the end of the year at the latest.

    Wouldn't surprise me if he did. I would like to see him do that.
