    NFL Draft: QBs

I was watching ESPN yesterday and one of their Draft guys said that Ryan was worthy of being the # 1 pick in the draft. I just don't get it. I don't think that he should be taken as the first QB. I am more impressed with Brohm than Ryan. This years QB class seems a little weak.

What order should the top QBs be drafted?
From what I have seen, here is my order:

    Brohm
    Ryan
    Woodson
    Flacco
    Henne
    Ainge
    Booty
    Brennan

Players the should definitely be taken before a QB this year:
    Dorsey
    Chris Long
    Jake Long
    McFadden
    Ellis

First off, need > talent. So Atlanta, if they had the #1 pick, would definitely take Ryan. Second off, CHRIS ELLIS OVER MATT RYAN?!?!?!?!? Ellis couldn't catch Ryan if the game depended on it. Which it did. And he didn't.

My order, based on my latest mock:

    Ryan (#3, ATL)
    Brohm (#8, BAL)
    Woodson (#13, CAR)
    Henne (#46, CHI)
    Brennan (#70, SF)

I know Atlanta needs a QB, but this is a bad year to need a franchise QB. I am not saying none of them will be successful, but there isn't a QB that really stands out as much as some years. Also, Atlanta needs more than just a QB. They were near the bottom of the league on defense and rushing.

On the other comment, I was talking about Sedrick Ellis from USC.

Brohm also impresses me more than Ryan. Woodson is a boom/bust type. I think Flacco is a really nice sleeper. I also think Henne will turn out to be a solid but not spectacular QB.

It looks like Woodson will go in the first round. I don't think I would take him in the first because he is inconsistent even though he has shown flashes.

I agree that it's a bad year to need a franchise QB, but Ryan and Brohm aren't bad choices. If they get the 3rd pick, then maybe I could see them taking Jake Long, Chris Long or Darren McFadden. If not, then Ryan's the best bet.

Yeah the appeal of having Ryan or Brohm over their current situation makes them have to lean toward taking one of them.
