American Idol.
What the heck is Paula Abdul wearing tonight the black gloves that go to the elbow what the heck.

I hope Brooke White wins.

David Cook, Carly Smithson, and Michael Johns would be my top 3...

David Cook can sing but Chris Cornell did a better a version of Billie Jean by far.

David Cook's really doing well IMO. Most of the others still look like they're playing at being a performer. Soon though, we'll get into the popularity contests weeks and most of this musical stuff won't matter.

Cook's too good to win. It'll either be Archuletta or that blond-haired nanny piano-playing woman winning it.
I'd listen to anything that Cook sings.

I don't see what people see in Archuletta. To me he doesn't stand out and is just average when he performs. Can he sing? Sure, but it sounds like a person who can sing on a cruise ship, not a vocal recording artist.
I haven't liked Cook too much yet but liked his Billie Jean rendition tonight.
For a show that keeps saying "This is the best group of contestants ever on American Idol" I have to disagree and say it's one of the weakest

I think the top talent may not match other years. However, the depth in this year's class is much better than previous years.

Yeah I really liked Archuletta at first but lately he's just gotten kind of boring to me. He can sing, but it just seems like he has no musical knowledge whatsoever. Now David Cook is who I'm pulling for, but he's getting raked over the coals on message boards because the judges are morons who thought he came up with that arrangement for Billie Jean (even though Ryan said it was Chris Cornell's version). I think if you haven't sold millions of records or worked with Randy, Paula, or Simon then the judges usually have no clue who the artists are.

Yeah, its ridiculous to get on the guy over that considering they did say it was the Chris Cornell version of the song. Its not his fault the judges don't listen to anything and decided to give him credit for it anyway.
I remember last year when Blake did the 311 version of "Love Song" they did the same thing. And they said they didn't know who 311 was.
