What is your dream starting rotation?

With all the young arms we have in the system, and with who we have in Baltimore right now, which 5 pitchers would you pick as your dream starting rotation?

    Loewen
    Tillman
    Erbe
    Arrieta
    Spoone

Could you imagine if those 5 lived out to their full potential? Wow.

    Can't argue that.

But with the spark of hope I have in Daniel Cabrera now, I'll put him in my dream starting lineup.

    Cabrera
    Loewen
    Erbe
    Tillman
    Arrieta

I like Loewen and Caberera too. After that it gets tougher...

    Penn
    Olson
    Erbe
    Arrieta
    Tillman
    Spoone
    Bascom
    Liz

Well, maybe we can send a few of them to the bullpen. Hopefully these guys will experience a long line of good health.

Wow, there is just too many options but I'll try to narrow it down.

    Tillman
    Erbe
    Arrieta
    Spoone
    Loewen

I would like another lefty in there and Britton would be my choice.

Erbe, Arrieta, Tillman, Spoone, Hernandez. That's the first 5 I thought of of. Yet, there's still Rad Liz and Britton hanging around, Penn, Olson, and two guys in the majors now (Loewen and Cabrera). This list just once again proves the depth we have in starting pitching at the moment, and how nasty we'd be if these guys produced consistently in the bigs now and in the future.

We've got about 15 very good, legit prospects in the system. So if only a fifth of them become 1/2 type starters we'd have a very formidable "big three." Then you add in Guthrie as a 3 type at the 4 slot, and the five slot can be manned by one of the other guys who didn't fully pan out, but is still decent, and we've got one of the best rotations in the league. That's my dream rotation. I don't really care who's in there, just that we get around 3 top of the rotation starters out of all of these prospects.

Not giving up but the question was what is our dream rotation. Patton isn't one of our more appealing pitchers in our system right now. It's kind of hard to be appealing when you're out for a year I guess.

I would have had to be excited about him in the first place.
