Does that mean they are trying to trade picks?

    I wonder what for?

Ellis will be gone in all likelihood.

Rumor is they are offering former pro bowl LT Jamaal Brown and their first rounders to the Chiefs so that they can get Ellis.

I don't know but here is what I do know.

The Ravens have set up a system for teams to contact them today. There are a handful of teams that have been given direct access to Ozzie and Eric.

Any other team that is interested in doing something has to go through the team's communication department. This is where I got/get my info.

They want to try an avoid a situation where they are on the phone with one team and another team trys to stall them.

And he would know...He has close tithes to Atlanta.

I am surprised they would do this over Dorsey but I understand why.

Bump... Was just browsing through old threads. Looks like the Ravens nailed the Qb rankings. Also, we get some of the greatest OldFanisms all in one thread. Enjoy.

Ryan at number one is a no brainer, but Flacco will be worse as an NFL QB than Boller! Mark my words! The guy looked like a lumbering sloth against small school D-I teams. The speed of the NFL will eat this guy alive! Who cares what kind of arm he has, he will never be upright long enough to throw it five yards!

As much as I literally cannot stand Boller as a player I would even take Boller over Flacco! Flacco is the opposite of happy foot Boller he is more like cement shoes!

Which is why he has been pretty silent on the ravens board for over a year now.

Looks like the Ravens were right to have Matt Ryan & Joe Flacco at the top of their wish list. Flacco has been a pleasant surprise, but given the choice I think I would still take Ryan. But I won't complain with what we have, as long as continues to make progress.

I will say that I really do want to see what Flacco can do with a real, legitimate wide receiver.
