I don't know much about the draftees. Nonetheless, I don't mind making my amateurish comments

I'm watching the draft on MLB.TV while I work at home.

Greg Maddox, Barry Zito circa Oakland A's, Brandon Webb, Cole Hamels, Jake Westbrook, Roy Holiday, just gave you a dirty look.

MLBTV is projecting the Orioles to take Matusz at #4.

That seems to be the consensus. I still think there's a significant chance Jordan goes for Smoak, Hosmer is a darkhorse if KC passes, and there's still the outside chance that one of T. Beckham or Alvarez falls into our lap, though that looks extremely unlikely at this point.

KC might even opt for Matusz taking him out of the equation for us. We'll see.

So, is this the thread that's going to be updated? I don't want to keep too many internet windows open at work.

How long is the time between picks in the first round (i.e., when should I be expecting the Os to make their pick?).

Five minutes on the clock, I believe. I might be wrong...

Has the draft started? mlb.com's Draft Tracker isn't showing any results yet.
Asked if he'd consider requesting a day off...Tejada shrugged and said, "No, I still have one good leg."

Bud Selig is at the podium and is about to announce that Tampa Bay is on the clock (5 minutes).

Bud Selig's voice makes me cringe...he should use a voice-altering device.
