The way they described him sounded rather Ecksteiny.

Kevin Goldstein (5:13:11 PM PT): Mike (Jax, FL): Orioles are going straight speed and defense today.

There are far worse strategies in a draft.

Kevin Goldstein (5:01:40 PM PT): Ah, I totally missed one here during my break. Baltimore's 4th rounder, Kyle Hudson, is better known for his wide receiver play at Illinois, but he's an 80 runner with a ton of range in centerfield who did a lot this spring in terms of improving his approach and baserunning to make some believe he can have some leadoff possibilities. He might be my new Orioles sleeper.

And on a side note, we just brought Fiorentino back into the organization by claiming him from the A's.

There is another team using this strategy today. Its the oakland A's and rumor has it they are pretty good at this.

Keep a close eye on the kid the Cubs just picked at 161 - Justin Bristow, East Carolina. This kid can pitch. And with the trade talks that always seem to happen between the Cubs and O's, this could be a kid that makes his way to the Orioles one day.

Has Galloway been picked yet? Wasn't he supposed to be up there?

I thought they were only doing 5 rounds today. Is that not true?

Beat me to it. I was going to ask if anyone had heard of him and had an opinion of him and if it would be valuable or not. He put up some gaudy #'s but you have to question how legit they are when its 312 down the LF line. Granted theres a 18? foot wall, but still.
