I think a Germany/Spain final won by Spain is the smart pick right now, but my gut is that it won't happen. One thing this tournament has shown (dating back to the qualifying last year) is that there are a lot of countries very close to each other, and you can't afford an off day. Germany, Italy, France and Holland all lost on days where they did not have their best. So the question is whether Spain can get through 2 more games without an off night. They have the talent to do it, but given the problems others have run into I just wonder if perhaps they might stumble.

I think Germany has a stronger team than Spain.

Interesting. I think I disagree, but I really don't know. Germany doesn't have nearly the goal scoring flair that the Spanish do, but they are certainly better defensively and a bigger (and literally "stronger") team.

I had a feeling about Germany before the tournament began, and that feeling has only gotten stronger as play has progressed. I see them winning it all over Spain.

What just happened? Did he say a "power hit" in Switzerland? Is there a blackout or something?

Ahhh! Again! Can't they at least keep up a commentary so we know what's going on?!

The game didn't stop, did it?

    The match stats are amazing.
Turkey has 65% of possession, 20(15) shots on goal (compared to 8(4).).

    Note to Arsene Wenger...
Good call on the whole Almunia vs. Lehmann thing.
