Yet that MVP season was preceded by two bad seasons, and like I said at his age Im willing to bet the latter over the former. The Packers gave him more than enough time to come to a decision, and gave him more than enough time to make a U turn but he didn't so they gave the job to Rogers and conducted their draft in a postfavre era. Now he just want them to drop everything and let him have his way???

How confident can they be in Aaron Rodgers? They did draft the most NFL ready QB in Brian Brohm. And didnt Rodgers only have one good year at Cal? I might be wrong on that

Undisputed4,
I think people are confused as to why the Packers drafted Brian Brohm and Matt Flynn. It's not so much that they don't have confidence in Rodgers, it's that they looked through the free agent QB's, brought a few guys in, and didn't have any interest in signing them. So instead of signing a Mark Brunell type of guy they decided to just solve the issue through the draft. Plus, after the Bears and Vikings passed on Brohm I think the Packers were pleasantly suprised to still have him available.
As a Packer fan I can say this whole thing is a mess, and it's nobody's fault but Brett Favre's. Him seesawing between retirement for two years was fine, but when you retire, you have to mean it, especially in his situation. He is the one that made the Packers move on, and that is exactly what they are doing. I still think he is a great guy and can still play, so if he really wants to play in the NFL trade him to someone not in the division.

So when does ESPN start the 24/7 vigil at Favre's mailbox waiting to capture the moment he sends the letter requesting reinstatement? Should I pick up some No-Doz?

Right...they would rather pay him up to 20Mil to stay retired than trade him? I don't get it. Trade him and see what prospects you can get in return. Does not make sense?
