Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, and the Faces.

One of the few songs I can really destroy on the guitar.

    From the movie Woodstock

    And check out this comment...

It was actually CSNY ant Woodstock, but Neil refused to be filmed. That's why the PA announcer introduces them as "Crosby Stiils Nash" without the "and" because they had to bleep out "Young" in the editing room. There are some still photos that show Neil playing with them.
And from Songfacts.com - nice website too!

Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young's performance at Woodstock was only their third show together. Before forming the band, Crosby had been a member of The Byrds, Nash was with The Hollies, Stills and Young were members of Buffalo Springfield. Neil Young played with the group for only part of the set.

All the Monkees were the coolest! I used to dream of Saturday Morning when I could see them again.

The Monkees opened for Jimi Hendrix, on his first U.S. tour, right after Monterey. Jimi "cracked up" Peter Tork's GTO.

I still prefer Blue Cheer's version.

Cochran's is a close but distant second... because he's EDDIE COCHRAN! Great GREAT guitarist! Very underrated and forgotten.

I've tried to fill this thread with as much attitude and Rage as I can...

That rocks and a half! I prefer this one or this one. Young college n00bs' take. That song has so much angst! Few props I would ever give to the "Boss".
