My favorite post-Beatles John Lennon track.

It seems only fitting to look back on the original Who every now and then, and what better time than tonight?

I will never get tired of watching Keith Moon - listening is only half the point.

I think it's safe to say their best days are behind them. Fortunately their best days could be very, very exciting and there's YouTube to remind us of that whenever we're feeling a little nostalgic.

Nice. I would have lazily posted the Monterey clip for the umpteenth time.

I thought they looked pretty good. Time-challenged versions of many of their classics, and they were pretty tight doing that... Pete made a mistake but covered well... Roger's "scream" at the end of Won't Get Fooled Again was as epic as the original.
I thought Pete was in rare form. His guitar had a growl and a half. And Daltrey is ever the pro. He had his corded mic taped well up for swinging but never did any... His and Pete's voices were as harmonious as ever.
Maybe it's just the first time I've seen them without Entwistle. It lacked something as related to the legend of the band, but it still captured plenty enough of the essence of the band to be wildly entertaining. Beats the hell out of Paul or Janet's tit.

The joy (and genius) of this thread is every now and then someone posts a new clip on YouTube that adds another dimension to a band that most people had forgotten about for...well decades. May as well post it for the benefit of those who can appreciate it rather than fall back on the same ol'...
I'll confess to being disappointed at the Who's Super Bowl performance. Clearly it's time for them to call it a career at least as a live band, although I say this without having seen the video of the hotel rooms - if they've left at least three blown up toilets, I'll gladly change my opinion.
