"You'll heal over someday"
I don't see it...

And I'm sorry to keep harping...
TBO's post of the KT Tunstall song has really rocked my world. "Killing Me Softly With His Song" Really depressed me, probably all week and for a long time to come.
And I mean no offense, in a few days I'll give him the pos rep he damn deserves. I... Depression is an emotion. And it's good to sometimes trigger it and look back on your life. Thanks to TBO to make me feel again. I haven't been this shook over a song since I first heard the original of this one...

Like KT says...
And I don't wanna hear you tell yourself
That these feelings are in the past
You know it doesn't mean they're off the shelf
Because pain's built to last
You have to revisit and deal with these things. The best you can...

I'm almost afraid to listen to the rest of her stuff. I have this CD en route as we speak. I'm fearful to delve further...

Susan is "tuned" there btw. Easier for her to play slide.
It's easier (to me) to play that normal. I learned these chords a LONG time ago from this below song... Bar F, F#, G, G#, A etc. Just don't bar it. Just your second, third and pinkie finger playing an "E" chord... up and down the neck.
Exact same chords, Susan and Alex and many other songs I've found.
Shortly after 3 minutes...Last edited by scOtt; 04-10-2012 at 05:50 AM.

BOTH playing double-necks!

EDIT: I think Geddy's is a Rickenbacker double-neck. Never saw one of those before!Last edited by scOtt; 04-10-2012 at 05:59 AM.

I've directly linked Susan Tedeschi, Alex Lifeson and John Denver. Do I win a prize?

I can't post attachments yet, but I have recently rediscovered the awesomeness of pre-1992 Soul Asylum, specifically, "Hang Time" and "...And The Horse They Rode In On". If A&M records would have promoted these guys a little harder, we could have all been spared "Runaway Train".
