How old are you kids Cindy?

I picked up the game for Wii because the package looked awesome...yeah I know, impulse buy. The game itself is sot of boring, easy, and quick. Not for me, I'm bad at video games, but my ten year old nephew beat it in a weekend and didn't care for it too much.

The good feature of the game is the battle feature, it allows you to battle Star Wars characters, light saber duel etc. But if this is the only feature, it might be better to get the Star Wars Clone Wars: Light Saber Duels.

Do your kids have a Wii? I seem to remember reading at some point they did. If so, and they are 13, 14 or younger, I'd say its a good Christmas pick up. The duel mode could keep them happy after they beat the game

I see that I didn't do much to answer your question about the game on the 360 . I would assume that the game is less fun on the XBox since you don't get to pretend that you have a lightsaber like on the wii . But if you have both systems, go with it on the Wii, it will probably be ten dollars cheaper too (gotta save where you can ).

I just rented it, it should be here Tuesday, I'll let you know. The real decision is how old your kids are though. I thought there was a lot of violence in it so I was scared to get it for my baby cousins, but I had heard that it wasn't that bad, it was in line with the other Star Wars games. If they are old enough to be playing a 360, I think you are safe. I played the demo and it was pretty fun.

I only played the demo. I heard it was ok, but after the first few levels the fun level plunged. You start facing people who can counter all of your force powers, meaning you can't enjoy the reason you're playing the game in the first place.

I think we may have been a bit harsh.

Once you get your Xbox back, and before it red rings again, download the demo for the game and have the kids try it. I can see that it's a game that certain people would love, I'm just not one of those people.

It's the same way that I love Assassin's Creed, but there are people out there who think it's way to repetitive.

Not to hijack the thread, but have you tried Boom Blox yet? That's a game (for the Wii) that may be perfect for you and the family.

I like almost any game and found this one to not be worth the time.

If your a huge Star Wars type you will enjoy it for that. If not the game gets boring and repetitive quickly and there's no online play.

I would recommend it. I have played through multiple times on harder and harder settings, and love it.

As to what Objectivity says about countering force powers...

As you play, you gain more control over your force powers by leveling up, which will make them more effective. Also, as far as countering, while some enemies can seem basically immuned from some force attacks, other force attacks may work great. You just got to figure out what works best on which enemies. Some bosses can still be challenging, but you usually figure out what works best for each boss battle. Not bad mouthing you, just wanted you to know I think you missing out on a great game! The only complaint I have is that the campaign is somewhat short. They did recently add a new campaign to download, which is a blast. Fighting your way into the Jedi Temple. Again, this one is rather short too, but I have still played though it multiple times. This game is just a blast to play!

I know it's been a long time since this has been posted I got this game for Christmas played 10 minutes and fell in love with it on Xbox. I loved playing as Vader even though it was slow as anything(Because Vader only walks) I loved using the force to fly people around. Fun.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I actually thought it was the most unenjoyable game I played all year...at least what I can think of.

Have fun, but let me know if you get bored by around the third boss

    2nd boss Good call.

Moved on to Hot Shots Golf for PS3, and I think I'm going to crack open my COD:WaW tonight at some point. UFC and the CAPS got in my video game way this weekend.

This question really just depends on who you're talking about. I personally like the game but found myself stop playing it after I got Madden and Call of Duty World at War.
