Didn't see the fight, but was following the punch-by-punch online.

Arlovski was winning the first round until he tried a flying knee and was knocked out cold by Fedor.

I was reading on Sherdog, and it mentioned that Fedor wants nothing to do with UFC. Do you think if they throw enough money at him, he would be willing to switch over?

That's a pretty accurate description of the fight. I'm pretty sure Fedor will take on the next best heavyweight in the world next, which would be Barnett, if he beats him, maybe he'd go to the UFC, but he refuses to sign an exclusive deal(mostly so he can fight in sambo tournaments), so that has been a big hold up.

However, I'd like to see a rematch of tonight since Andre was looking good until that one punch. As of now, I don't think there's better top heavyweight talent in UFC than in Affliction, just different matchups. The top 3 ranked heavyweights in the world going into tonight are all in Affliction.

I also understand that his handlers are trying to use Fedor to leverage a bigger deal with UFC that also includes some of their other fighters and a deal with their M-1 network.

Here is a gif of the knockout of Arlovski.

    ------

    BJ v GSP!

The undercard is not bad either.

It was long rumored that in Japan a lot of the Pride fighters were roided up. When a lot of those fighters came to the UFC and looked somewhat deflated, and didn't have the intensity, aggressiveness, and stamina they showed in Pride, the roid rumors were verified to some fans.

For quite some time Quinton Rampage Jackson claimed that Wanderlei Silva was roided up in Pride, Shogun and Wanderlei were training partners, so it is not too far fetched to think they were juicing in Japan and stopped when they hit American soil. Neither fighter looks as physically impressive as they did in Pride, nor have they been as dominant.

    I was joking.

As soon as AA dropped his hands, Fedor clocked him squarely. Nasty knockout

In my opinion Penn beat GSP the first time around so its entirely possible he beats him on the second time around.

I love GSP but he seems sorta like a terminator like-cyborg, relentlessly fury coming with all kinds of crazy weapons (strikes). He overwhelms and outlasts you. He is susceptible, but also better than he was.

So I am watching the end of the third UFC Primetime and I am more stupid. Thank you.

BJ keeps arguing GSP is bi4@h because he quit under strikes when that's not really what happened (stopped because of strikes /defenseless) and Matt
Hughes doing the same thing to him (stopped because of trikes/defenseless). And Dana going on about BJ taking time off to allow him to peak for the fight. Drama. BJ wins the fight by calm, composed control and reaction anyway. Not that conditioning doesn't matter but BJ wins through tactics/fighting skill as opposed to sheer explosive athleticism.

The Hawaiian scenes are fun. I like GSP to eventually pummel Penn.

I think GSP is going to win. I think it will be a great fight though. Wish I had the money to rent it...

Was really tempting to pay-per-view but decided against it, as the other fights are not that great.

Will just follow it punch-by-punch on sherdog.com.

Overall it was a pretty good PPV. I didn't agree with the Diaz or Parysian decisions. I thought Diaz and Kim both should have got the win. GSP dominated Penn though. GSP vs Alves should be a great fight though. And if both GSP and Anderson Silva both win they're next fights, I think on this years December card there is a good possibility of a GSP-Silva showdown.
