FLK - what are your thoughts on the stability ball balance moves? I can do them, but I find the risk/reward not worth it in terms of hurting my wrists. I HATE to modify - I don't like to lose - but I modify most of the moves that require you to balance with your wrists on the stability balls.

Also, there's the one where you have your feet on a chair and do pushups on the ball...I don't see the point of the ball. I put my hands on the floor and feel like it works better.
So, I don't feel like you're "losing" if you're doing it to save your wrists. I believe that some of the things using the ball (and the foam roller thing) are gimmicks aimed at pushing product that are mixed in with a terrific workout program.
On another note, I just bought the 2 bonus workouts...I'm pretty excited to mix these in now.

After missing basically a week and a half because of said stomach ailment, I jumped back into the fray tonight for my first round of chest, shoulders and triceps (at least I think that was it) and got totally destroyed. Just didn't have much energy after 10 days of eating very little. Frustrating because I feel like I lost some of the progress I made, but glad to be back at it again.

V-sculpt is definitely a P90X highlight.

My 3-year-old just rocked some Plyocide with me. She had a blast jumping around like a fool. Now I realize how ridiculous I look doing it! But she has way more fun than I do!

By the way, I finished my P90X/Insanity hybrid a couple of weeks ago. I got down to 177, and saw some pretty solid results. My body is pretty worn down from those second month Insanity workouts. They get you in crazy good shape and you sweat buckets, but they take a toll on your body. They are very high impact. I have taken the last couple of weeks lightly trying to recover (my back was a little sore). I am going to start a new round of P90X/Insanity next Monday.
I am pretty happy, but there is definitely room for improvement in my diet. Recently I found out I had a gluten allergy, so I switched over to a gluten-free diet. I have had terrible indigestion since high school. At first I thought I was lactose intolerant, but after a recommendation from a friend I figured out it was gluten sensitivity. Amazing how good my stomach feels now. I am still settling in to a good balance with this type of diet. I do well on the weekdays, but on the weekends I am still trying to get clean with healthy foods. I also plan to get the Bowflex SelectTech dumbbells soon to add variety to my P90X workouts. I am pretty pumped to start up again.

Started Phase 2 of P90X2 today. It's funny, I got completely out of pullup shape focusing on core for a month. V-Sculpt kicked my butt this morning, and my pullup numbers were awful. My core feels great though!
I'm going to do Phase 2 for 6 weeks, rotating every other week between the stock workouts and the bonus workouts.
