Any ska/punk/hardcore fans?
Punk, yes. Ska, sucks.
I like Screeching Weasel, The Vindictives, old Bad Religion, Descendents (some), Face to Face (which is pop-punk), NoFX, and I love me some Propagandi. Sicko and The Queers have a few songs I have on the ol' Ipod.
Good choices, yeah. The Queers and The Descendants are both among my favourite bands and so was Propagandhi until they attacked Hockey Night in Canada. NoFX is among the best of all time IMO.
Ska has gotten worse over the years, yes, but there are still some bands to salvage the genre. Anyone an ASOB fan?

I love Punk. This is one of my faves atm, great live show.
And some Ska, another AWESOME live show, highly recommended!
I can't wait for the Thorns of Life.
Blake Schwarzenbach, Aaron Cometbus, I'm really hopeful.
Austin Texas in the early ’80’s had a vibrant and very entertaining Punk scene. Following are a couple of clips from those days. Sadly nothing from the period for STB.

Sharon Tate’s Baby
unfortunately I can’t find anything from the period but they were great live -

This group was from SF and really put on a fascinating show. It might be better classified as Art Rock rather than Punk - or not. Also from the early ’80’s. I’ve been looking for video of them for a long time. Think Meg Brazill ever heard Patti Smith?
Los Microwaves
Life after Breakfast

TV in My Eye

Those guys were great.
Scratch Acid were as well, but not really punk.
I'm also a big fan of:
Crass
The Ex
The Wipers
Wire
The Fall
I'm a huge fan of a LOT of the bands in this thread, but since we are on a Baltimore message board, does anyone hear like Double Dagger? They're very Fugazi-esque, and very violent. One of my favorite punk bands period, not just local.
