GCL Orioles Stadium location question
Hi,
I am down in the Sarasota area on vacation and I see that the GCL Orioles are playing away @ Sarastoa on June 23 and at home on June 24.
I would like to go to one of these games. Does anyone know where these stadiums are located? I can't seem to locate the info the minor league baseball.com. If anyone could tell me the name and address of these stadiums it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Andrew

No problem Andrew...
The Reds play at Ed Smith Stadium located at 2700 12th Street in Sarasota
* the GCL games are normally played on the practice fields behind the stadium itself...depending on what gate is open you can either go in through the stadium parking fence or the players enterance off Euclid ave
The Orioles play at Twin Lakes Park located at 6700 Clark Rd in Sarasota
* the Orioles training complex is on the right when you enter the park

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions. Do they charge an admission fee? I plan to go on Thursday. I'll be bringing my 5 year old son. I'll make sure we eat before going. If he has to go, I'll try to find a spot behind a tree somewhere or I'll leave and come back.
Thanks,
Andrew

No, there is no charge for any GCL game...there is a small bathroom in the center of the four playing fields (not many trees close by)...
Heading towards Ed Smith (depending on what way you come in from) there are plenty of fast food places on the drive in (nothing close to the park though)...
