Fantasy Football (My team) - Your thoughts

I hardly ever play but a few friends wanted me to join so I did. I put in no pre-draft work so really just picked and choosed.

    QB - Eli Manning
    RB - DeAngelo Williams
    RB - Chris Johnson
    WR - TJ Houshmanzadeh
    WR - Dwayne Bowe
    TE - Antonio Gates
    W/R - Chad OchoCinco
    K - Mason Crosby
    Def - Washington

Bench - Matt Cassel, Ray Rice, Tim Hightower, Chris Chambers, Steve Breston, Heath Miller

    FYI - Standard scoring, non-keeper.

Few things, just noticed McNabb was put on waivers so if Cassel if out for an extended period may pick up McNabb. RB situation while I believe I have a good group, my only concern is each one is just one half of their teams main RB core. So that may limit the damage they can do for me.

Don't really need a second TE, so may drop Miller and pick up someone on waivers while Gates has a bye.

So what do you all think!

Nice team DT! I think you need some help at QB as I am not sold on Manning. I would suggest you pick up McNabb if he gets available. I think your WR core is pretty solid and your RBs are beast. You shouldn't have any trouble scoring points this year.

Pretty good job. I'm not sold on either of your QBs either, and suggest you pick up McNabb ASAP. Feel free to drop Miller. As you said, no one ever needs a backup TE (or Kicker or Def for that matter). I like all your RBs, but i would feel better if I was sure one of them would get 60% of their teams carries (every day that passes and Jonathan Stewart stays hurt is great for you).

I'm not really sold on any of your Wideouts, but they don't have the problems your RBs do. Namely, they are all their teams clear #1. All in all, it seems like a very solid team.

    McNabb should be your starter.

Not bad for a first draft.

I have to agree with the others, you RB's are beast. Also I think Dwayne Bowe will have a breakout year. I picked him up off waivers last year and he scored a good amount of points for me.

Individually, your RB are good but combined on one team, they could present a problem since they are sharing carries with guys, Stewart and L. White, who will get the goal line carries for their respective teams. Your WR look good but this would also depend on the arms and/or the health of Hasselback, Palmer and Cassel.

Also, I am not sold on E. Manning since he is usually inconsistent so I would put in a waiver claim for McNabb to upgrade at that position.

I would try to strengthen your bench with productive starting WR and/or RB, if possible, plus pickup NcNabb.

Overall, this team could be very good (if everything works out) or it could be a bust if the aforementioned things happen.
