    Homecoming

This may be the last chance we have to see the Terps win a game this year, and it's against hated UVA.

Thoughts about the game? Who all is going? I'll be the guy in handcuffs that can't stand up.

I've seen that the football team has been running some extra practice this week. I think they understand the importance of this game. It's a must win. A loss an the season is basically over.

Plus, they really need to win so my road trip to Duke is still fun. I don't want to see a meaningless game there.

I remember going to the Homecoming game against UVA a few years ago. It was a disappointing loos, but I was at a college student tailgate before the game, it was fun, and also hanged out at my brothers dorm room. My parents were out of town so my brother had to bring me.

I was going to go hang out, but UMD changed my plans for me. Apparently tailgating has changed and you have to buy tickets in order to get cash lot permit parking. And if you do it less than 10 days away (which they didn't announce the time of the game until 7 days out) you can't have tailgating privileges. I've always gone tailgating for homecoming but never to the game, we listen on the radio or watch on tv from the lot, but the tailgate is quite the to-do.

In the end it's ok because it's going to be cold and pouring all weekend, Nor-Easter coming through, so we are going to "tailgate" at home instead, just really bummed out that they had to be so difficult this year, it's worked fine for years...why change now?

    Ya mo be there.

Not sure if I'm going into the game or not, but I'll certainly be drunk in the parking lots. I'll bounce around between Lot 1, Lot 9, and the top of RDG.

Most likely doing C-stone after the game and then passing out on the floor of my sister's Courtyards apartment. Should be a nice little CP venture, first time I've been down this year because I've been working so many weekends recently.

I haven't been to Homecoming in CP since the days when Wade was slingin' the deathballs at Club L.T. Yellow Death, those were the best. I think the yellow part was the meat and the brownish/sometimes greenish part was the cheeze-like substance. I miss those days...

Why would they be running extra practice? I would think that during the season, they practice as much as the NCAA allows. Hell, even more if Michigan's players are to be believed.

No idea. I know they get off of practice daily at 6:30. A couple of days ago, I saw them on field for their regular practice, then leaving the field at 8:15 ish.

If the Terps lose today that seat gets a little hotter for the Fridge.

Personally, I think they lose a close one today.
