It's snowing now in Silver Spring but it doesn't look like it's sticking yet.
University of Maryland is closed but I didn't have anything today anyway, so I just woke up. Bring it on, skies.

Since nobody answered my out of context question earlier, I'll try again.
I am all out of wood for the fireplace.
Can somebody give me wood?
Dipper needs wood?
I tried hard but I can't find my wood.
Better?

Snowing now in Frederick...not laying yet. I don't think it will get messy until around 5-6 pm, just in time for rush hour.

The NWS has upped their snow total predictions to 20" to 28". They said some places could see around 30".
As for my prediction, I say we get 23.4" at BWI.

Anyone know where to find records for snowfall for an entire winter? Or what the record is in Baltimore or where I am?

http://www.erh.noaa.gov/lwx/winter/storm-pr.htm
After this storm, both DC and Baltimore will have more total snow this winter than will Oswego NY, in the lake-effect snow belt.
Latest model runs have this storm potentially producing 3+ inches of liquid QPF...At this point 30-40 inches look easy....
Baltimore and DC both will break their all-time records.

NWS just upped it to 23-36 inches.
