I wouldn't worry about it, we understand. We understand but it still sucks.
I was literally climbing on mountains of snow today to deliver one piece of mail. Its not bad when you only have a few stops, but when its 300 out of 320 mailboxes its frustrating. Nothing you can do about it though.

One thing I love about living in an apartment, they take care of all the snow removal. And they've done a great job too. All I had to worry about was digging my car out, which still took about an hour. Luckily for me there was an empty parking space directly across from where I was parked so I dug out the back, backed into the parking spot, then finished cleaning off the car.
Most roads weren't bad today, its just the snow being pushed to the sides thats the problem. No sidewalks, one lane roads, no room to get to mailboxes (

My whining is directly attributed to me not looking forward to the next week/weeks/month, nothing against anyone in particular. It would be ironic if you went to get the mail because theres a 95% chance you didn't get any today!
And if I had your mail at my house I'd be in bigger trouble than a snowstorm!

My wife was quite hell bent on digging out the mailbox. So you're welcome!

Yeah, see, I got plowed in, and then the jerk in the space next to me shovelled all his snow in front of my space as well. So I've got a mound about 10 feet long and 4.5 feet high in front of my car. I cleared off the car, dug out the tires, and I've got about 3 feet of clearance in front, so at some point I will dig just enough more that I can turn out and then go find another space (it's a huge complex). But not today. I can get by without a car for a bit.

True story. Saturday as we're digging out, my wife mentions how Sunday we would have to do the sidewalks so that kids had somewhere to walk, off the street.
Sunday morning I get up alone and finish the area from my driveway to the one lane that was plowed down my street. After that I waded through 3 feet of snow to clear off the DirecTV dish. Then, remembering my wife's request, I set to work on the sidewalk. After spending about 45 minutes on it, I had a open path from my driveway's 8 foot pile to my neighbor's 8 foot pile next to his driveway. I loook down the street in both directions, and NOBODY else has done the sidewalk. I did NOT shovel the two 8 foot piles. The Mrs. comes out and says "Sorry. If I had known no one else was going to shovel the sidewalk, I wouldn't have said anything about us doing it."
WTF?
I love my wife!
