Winner!

I sit here in North Central FL, a newbie here and recent emigre from DC/Balmer area. I just had two friends from DC area visiting (see new profile pic) and it was hilarious watching them call the wives back home getting updates on the snow. They just left and we are both watching the Weather Channel and seeing all the places we used to haunt blanketed by snow. I did that scene for so many years - "Blizzard of '66" in Syracuse, NY; getting snowed in when Air Florida flight crashed into Tidal Basin, etc., etc. It is nice to be out of there in many ways, but I remember so many good times x/c skiing down the hill outside the house in Arlington. Have fun y'all and make some babies!

Probably 20 inches here in Frederick too. There's a guy in a Bobcat trying to keep the roads in my development as clear as possible...it's like trying to empty out the ocean with a bucket. Poor guy.

As of 8 am, we had 23 inches here in Severn. It took me an hour to get my porch and steps shoveled...back out in a little bit to do some more.

Somehow my hometown of Elkridge stole the show with the highest current snow fall total of 30".
It's now official...I hate snow.

Yep, just went outside to create a poop area for my two labs and I'm guessing we have somewhere around that. 30 sounds a little high, bit there are certainly some points where we look like we got that much. I'm closer to BWI so whatever they get is probably what we got.
Either way, it's a crap load of snow!!

18" on my roof here in PIT.
Letting the neighborhood kids handle the shoveling. I'm settling into a tall bloody mary.
