    The Official OH Out-of-Context Thread

We all know what this is. Unfortunately, it looks like the previous version fell casualty to this morning's server issues, unless Tony and the guys can find any way to recover it. So, now's a good a time as any to start the thread anew. From last night's game thread, ninth inning:

It wasn't a server issue. The creator of the thread deleted it.

Not even close. I barely even looked at the thread once it started and I haven't deleted any threads in a long, long time.

    Sorry, McLovin. Just not true.

It was actually a victim of the faulty clock. Someone posted in it the other night, and with the date and time messed up, it put that post as the first post in the thread, when he thought he did something wrong he deleted his post, which deleted the thread. The clock/date mishap just tricked the computer into thinking the new post that was put at the front of the thread was the original poster making it delete-powered.

Indeed; that's what I meant in the OP.

Actually, I accidentally deleted the thread (and I was not the creator of the thread).

There was a timestamp issue on the server the other day. The system time got bumped back to 1998. I posted a comment in the thread, and because of the timestamp issue, it became the first post in the thread. I reported the problem, then deleted my incorrectly timestamped post from the thread. Unfortunately it assumed that I was the thread creator, since mine was now the first post, and deleted the entire thread.

*Edit* -- I'm referring to the same clock issue that allstar1579 mentioned.
