You can add another NDFA to the class as bigbird's noted above. Billy Gross RHP from West Virginia and locally from Frederick High School in Frederick has signed and is reporting to the GCL squad. Gross throws 90-92, tops at 94 and was one of the top prep pitchers in the area when he was recruited by WVU.

Any news on Givens? If I were him I would be wanting to get started in a hurry, the kid is a year behind his graduating class. It is not too big a deal, but it leaves little room for error in the terms of development and prospect status. This half-a-season would be huge for him, especially considering how raw his bat is and that he is making the transition to a full-time shortstop.

They said early on that his signing would probably drag out a bit.

I feel like a lot more info was trickling out of the warehouse last year. I'd just like to hear SOMETHING about picks 4, 5 and 7. We've heard that Givens and Berry will probably drag out for a while, and that Harris might be a guy to follow over the summer. But I haven't hear a thing about Henry, Tolliver or Wirsch.

These 3 are the next most essential pieces for me....If Givens didnt sign, it would suck but I wouldnt lose any sleep over it, but these 3 guys and Berry I really want to sign.

We seem aggresive in signing lots of FA kids. Is this normal. I dont have any frame of reference to go by. It seems we have picked up eight or so FA kids now.

Hey markpolis thanks so much for the list. Is there any way when a new signing occurs you can star it or something just so it's clear which is most recent. Your already doing us a huge favor with the list I
just have trouble figuring when it's updated, who is signed especially with later picks.

No problem. For now on I'll put the signing date as well. Once we get the signing bonuses I will add those too.
