      That DH scenario is unfortunate but there wasn’t much choice. The Braves and Mets can basically scratch each others back and make it. Whoever wins game 1 is in and likely will rest people in game 2 given they will play on Tuesday.

      His teammates help him out - I guess it would be between him and Povich for Saturday if ALWC takes 3 and we survive. Thursday and Saturday could be Raysian bullpen games both of them. I hope Albert gets a very nice chunk of that pre-Arb bonus pool money and very deservedly takes winter ball off.    His 2024 competitive run might end up being nearly Christmas to Halloween in the very best scenario.

      Right after that, or due to something else? He seemed like a stand up guy when he was here but this was def a dick move.

      Albert Suarez put a nice bow on his regular season by throwing 6 efficient innings in the season finale.  He finished the year with a 9-7 record and a 3.70 ERA in 133.2 IP.  It sure seems like we won’t see him in the WC series but he could well be a game 1 starter in the ALDS if we get through the WC round.   Anyway, it was a great season for him and he picked up the rotation when we really needed it when other starters went down.  Thanks, Albert, for all you did!

      Do we know when the television schedule will be announced or is it dependent on the Mets-Braves doubleheader tomorrow first?
