Why? He's been terrible in 1st innings - today is the ultimate example. There's absolutely no reason to think he's going to be straightened out in the pen. This is his 3rd year here. He spent his entire first year here trying to fix his mechanics. This year has been the same. These games aren't practice. DFA today - right after the game.

I agree. He has no role and we already have enough holes if we want to win this year. If they just want to save money and try to revive his career again, fine, but we are then just giving up on this season, imho.
