vs. BLUE JAYS, 5/19

Recommended Posts

I had to leave for 20 min and come back and masn is showing espn.    Thought somehow the game ended superquick and there was no post game or something.   Why in the world did masn  cutaway? Especially if it's going to be less than a 30 minute rain delay.

Yes.  I heard earlier it was a blowout.

Hard for me to get into a sport with no competition until the Finals. Just awful

Was talking to a guy at work and we were wondering... if it's Cleveland/GS again, it would be the same final two teams for the 3rd straight year.   Has that ever happened before in the four so-called "major sports"?   We couldn't recall any.   Don't think it's happened in college football or college basketball either, though Clemson and Alabama have a shot to do it this fall.

Celtics shouldn't bother flying out to Cleveland.  I tuned over to the game at halftime, and the studio were talking like they had seen a ghost.  Checked the score and saw Cavs were up 40 points at halftime.

It used to be not watch the NBA till the playoffs. Now with these lame super teams, it's not watch the NBA till the finals. GS vs Clev.

Lebron started this dumb stuff. The playoffs would be a lot better if Durant would have stayed in OKC or went to Wash.

Dodgers and Yanks in Brooklyn days maybe?  Have to look it up.

I believe they mentioned that it hasn't happened in basketball.  Baseball may be the best chance.  Need to look at the old WS.

Agreed...but I can't deny that I'm stoked for the Finals.

I have hardly watched any of the playoffs. More hockey even though I don't watch regular season hockey at all.

Should be a good one.

Yanks and Giants played three straight years from 1921 - 1923

I'm sorry. I was being a smart ass. I have no idea.

No worries. That was funny. I really thought you had the radar up and could tell how long it was going to take for the system to go though. I'll still take sleep and horse racing over late night baseball. I'll give it another 15.

Lakers-Celtics played 4 out of 5 years in the 60s, but not three straight.

I hope I am close or under.
