  1. Remember when Tillman pitched against the Tigers in the ALDS and came out and looked electric? I'm hoping we get that Tillman tonight - all hopped up on adrenaline.
  2. Do you seriously think the GM's job ends on Opening Day? That "nerd" is responsible for keeping the team intact, promoting players, and making trades and signings throughout the season. Without DD's moves during the season in 2012, we likely wouldn't have made the playoffs.
  3. I'm also not really sure why this would make sense for the Nats - they've been very successful, even more so than the Orioles. It's the second week of the season. Wouldn't this be a distraction for them as well? Why not wait until the end of the season?
  4. I truly hate the Blue Jays and their entitled fans. Say what you will about the Yankees, at least they have the history to back it up. Blue Jays fans are insufferable and they've only been good for one year. I'm rooting for a split but I have to admit it would be nice to see the Jays totally bomb this season.

  6. You are the king of jumping to conclusions and then stating them as definitive fact. The only smoke here would be from the Nats - or really, from some random Minnesota beat reporter. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Dan Duquette on Nats rumor: "I don't know anything about this nor has anyone contacted me."</p>— Rich Dubroff (@RichDubroffCSN) <a href=" ">April 12, 2016</a></blockquote><script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
  7. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">From Nats spokesperson, on Duquette rumors: "We are not in discussions with Dan Duquette, nor are we in the market for a team president."</p>— Chelsea Janes (@chelsea_janes) <a href=" ">April 12, 2016</a></blockquote><script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
  8. It's been six games, guys. I'm as excited as anyone but what baseball commentator would totally change their mind based on six games?
  9. Maybe I'm totally missing something but, uh... who is that?
  10. Man, bummer, always liked Gonzo. I'll always be grateful for how he performed in 2012 and the role he played in those playoffs.
  11. Speaking of Catfish Hunter - does anyone remember the poster a few years back who thought Jim Hunter and Catfish Hunter were one in the same? Lead to a very confusing series of posts.
  12. Oh, sure. This is a great move for the Cubs. Unfortunately it comes at our expense.
  13. Print this out and frame it, another greatest hit from Stevie.
  14. Go back to fighting the good fight for gamergate, friend. The two hosts of Catfish are decidedly not "ghetto", no matter what race they are. And neither is Dexter Fowler. This thread has gone off the rails so I'm done.
  15. Catfish is a term invented by two white guys who host a show on MTV. But don't let me get in the way of your dog whistle BS. LOL
