  1. I'm 4-1 in my money league right now, currently in 1st place. Who's the master now?
  2. This could potentially be a scary week. I know who I'm going with, but I'm not necessarily feeling all that confident.
  3. A LOT of people going down this week. I'm surprised so many people went with San Diego. They look pretty rough so far this year.
  4. Still alive! I too am surprised that only two people went down this week.
  5. I'm still alive with my two picks so far being Seattle and Jacksonville. The Jags gave me a bit of a scare, but I'm feeling better now.

    McBillicked

I have a difficult time shouldering the blame on Billick for this one. The play-calling should have worked. The phantom offensive pass interference call took points off the board. And the interception on that last pass came down strictly to execution. Heap was open, Boller might have thrown it too hard, but it was certainly catchable. Bottom line, the play-call worked! Boller and/or Heap simply didn't execute.
  7. You can still make your selection as of now. I'm not sure of the exact cut-off, but you might have up until gametime. Don't drag your feet though!

    "Kiss Cam"

Your views intrigue me, and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
  9. Agreed. Bucknor is a terrible ump, but his interference call on Marlon Anderson was absolutely correct. I have to give him some credit, because that was a ballsy call to make in that situation.
  10. I don't know, it's difficult for me to compare the two. I definitely think Knocked Up was a better movie, whether that means "funnier" though I'm not sure.
  11. I liked it, but didn't love it. Maybe I had set my expectations too high, but it just didn't click with me on every level. Seth in particular I found to be annoying and tiresome. I enjoyed both 40 Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up more than this. However, it's definitely still worth checking out. I just expected more.
  12. Pretty tough to argue with that. Talk about an amazing infield.
  13. Someone (I believe Frobby) did a defensive analysis of Tejada's replacements at SS while he was out. The analysis showed that his replacements played GOLD GLOVE level defense in this time-frame. So yes, for that month or so, they played defense like superstars.
  14. As I said before, I value any and all opinions. But when they aren't backed by any sense of reality, then I'm going to call you out on it. I have stats and common sense backing up what I have to say, and I expect the same of others. You cannot spout off nonsense and claim it as fact. Bottom line: When you have a reactionary post such as this with no statistical backing whatsoever, prepare to be roasted for it. And deservedly so.
  15. Very heads-up base-running, but it was bang-bang at 3rd. He very easily could've been called out. Regardless, in a 7-0 game, at least there was little to lose.
  16. If people absolutely must blame someone for losses, how about the players who actually were responsible? I simply get tired of seeing these types of threads after every single loss. Last night's loss can not be pinned on Tejada. If you must assign blame, look in the direction of Shuey and Parrish.
  17. This simply isn't true. It's been proven time and time again by every statistical measure out there that Tejada is at least average, and most of the time above average at SS. When did it become acceptable to make things up out of thin air and pass them off as fact? I respect any and all opinions, but you've got to be able to back them up.
  18. Ugh....OH's favorite whipping boy is back in full effect. Yes, this team would be so much better with Fahey or Hernandez at SS.

I didn't get added. What the heck?? http://www.myspace.com/christopherl
  20. Yep, I've been in Canton for over 2 1/2 years now. I am getting ready to move into a new place on Decker Street, but I'll still only be 4 blocks from the Square. And yeah, definitely keep me posted for the next time you guys are out and about. I'll let you know about my house-warming party once we're all settled in the new place.
  21. If you guys went to Walt's without me I'm going to be VERY upset. I love that place! Karaoke is one of my very guilty pleasures, and rarely a weekend goes by without at least a quick stop into Walt's Inn for a song or two. Plus, it's less than a block from my house...oh so convenient!
  22. Yeah, I know the feeling. The female crap never seems to end, does it? But things are real good with me. I certainly can't complain. Do you ever come to Canton to hang out? I never see you around. P.S.- It's funny that we would cross paths on the "drunk" thread...ha.
  23. Ha...I just looked at your profile and realized I know you. What's up man?

Wow, that is one impressive beard! I seriously could never do that. I once went about 2 weeks without shaving and it looked horrible...
