  2. Fast Five... Saw it, it was good Thor... Saw it, disappointing Green Lantern Captain America The Hangover 2 Super 8 Harry Potter
  3. Yeah, I think about it every day just about it. I wish I could move to Colorado. It's the only place that I've really been to that I didn't feel homesick at all. I just can't pick up and move away from all the people I care about though. I also think about joining the military every once in a while. But, I've just grown to accustom to my lifestyle and, plus, I just bought a damn house.
  4. Lots of MST3K episodes available online on Netflix!
  5. A lot of people worried where I work. I'm a contractor in an essential job so I'm not too worried.
  6. That's actually a nice scotch selection. It's a shame he wasn't enjoying it in his room... in moderation.
  7. Very true. I think the two movies that drew the most laughs from me were Iron Man 2 and The A-Team... two action movies.
  8. Grown Ups - 2/10 This was probably the worst movie I've seen since Miss March. Awful, just awful. I don't think I laughed out loud a single time. Dear Adam Sandler, WTH happened! Dinner for Schmucks - 3.5/10 I heard about this and thought... Rudd + Carrell = no way the movie is bad. What were they thinking? I'm going to forget this movie ever happened. Paper Man - 5/10 Indie film starring Jeff Daniels and Emma Stone. I read a review that it was a cross between Answer Man and Greenberg and I'd say that's 100% accurate.
  9. Prespective from an Oakland fan: I was an adamant Al Davis supporter from 1995 until about 2002 (even though they sucked the majority of that timeframe). Then Al Davis trades Jon Gruden, the best coach the Raiders have had since I've been a fan. The deal seemed really good (two first rounders) until you realize, in hindsight, that the move probably cost us a championship and started the Raiders' downward spiral. Then Rich Gannon, the best Raiders QB since I've been a fan, offers help to the Raiders not too long ago and Davis not only declines but also lashes out at Gannon. Not to mention the crappy coach shuffle that's been going on. However, Hue Jackson is probably the best HC the Raiders have had since Jon Gruden. Which probably means he'll be out of Oakland in 2-3 years at the most. Al Davis is THE problem with the Oakland Raiders. The bad contracts, the crappy trades, trading great coaches, hiring crappy coaches. We have our best year since 2002 and what does Al do? Fires the coach. So, I'm basically in the same boat with the Raiders that I am with the Orioles. For me, that means I'm mostly apathetic but still hold out hope for a fluke year because I know that with the current owner situations, with both teams, that winning a championship is a near impossibility. I'll watch the games, hope for a win, and not give a crap when they lose... again.
  10. I picked up a few BRs over the last week... I was in a spy mood: Killers - 5/10 Kelso as an op just doesn't work. I love Heigl though. Knight and Day - 7/10 Actually really funny and the action was good. Definitely the best of the three spy movies I watched. Salt - 6/10 I've probably seen too many movies because this movie was way too predictable.
  11. I was pretty disappointed in Easy A. I'd give it around a 6.5 as well. From what the critics said about it and what I heard from others, I thought it would be much better. It got an 86% on RT but the average rating was a 7.1.
  12. From WarGames: General Beringer: Goddammit, I'd piss on a spark plug if I thought it'd do any good! From Lethal Weapon: Martin Riggs: When I was 19, I did a guy in Laos from a thousand yards out. It was a rifle shot in high wind. Maybe eight or even ten guys in the world could have made that shot. It's the only thing I was ever good at. Well, see ya tomorrow. Martin Riggs: What did one shepherd say to the other shepherd? Let's get the flock out of here! From Black Hawk Down: "Hoot": When I go home people'll ask me, "Hey Hoot, why do you do it man? What, you some kinda war junkie?" You know what I'll say? I won't say a goddamn word. Why? They won't understand. They won't understand why we do it. They won't understand that it's about the men next to you, and that's it. That's all it is. From Kick-Ass: Dave Lizewski: Like most people my age, I just existed. From The Professional: Fatman: Somebody's coming up. Somebody serious. From The Last Samurai: Emperor Meiji: Tell me how he died. Algren: I will tell you how he lived. Finally, from The Magnificent Seven: Vin: We deal in lead friend.
  13. Older movie but I hadn't seen it in a while and it's good I thought I'd mention it here. The Professional 9.5/10 Amazing performances by Jean Reno, Gary Oldman and Natalie Portman. Also has a number of laugh out loud moments. Sadly, this movie reminded that the very talented Jean Reno has been wasted in movies like Godzilla and The Pink Panther.
  14. Tron Legacy 7.5/10 The rating is probably largely based on the visuals of the movie. I got out of the movie exactly what I was expecting.
  15. From the WBALTV weather blog, Tony Pann states that his two favorite models are split on the storm track. One has it missing us completely and the other has us in a winter wonderland. The storm appears to be slowing down. That means if it does take the winter wonderland track, the snow amounts will be even higher. Sadly, they won't know with anymore certainty until Thurs/Fri.
