  1. Spoone and Erbe because they are local guys. I always love having local guys on the team.
  2. The best argument you can make for him to stay is that he might be a one payout guy if he leaves early. There is no doubt he will cash in on his first contract. The prospect of him going even higher next year is stronger if he stays. Also, he would have more staying power in the NBA because his game would be much more refined. This would allow him to be a better pro and cash in on his second and third contracts. If he flops in the NBA because he is not ready, he will only see one of those pay days. That would be the angle I would take if I was Turgeon.
  3. I agree with this. Add in the fact that this draft is on the weaker side, there is no way he would be outside the top 10. That is hard to pass up.
  4. What a crazy night in college park! The energy was incredible. Hats off to the students section!
  5. I am not trolling anything. I am following up on my conversation from earlier in the year. I will have more to say when I am not on my phone.
  6. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
  7. Don't forget Flacco got nailed out of bounds. That could have easily been roughing the passer there. Maybe we don't settle for a FG and get a TD instead. Game over.
  8. Black Suggs jersey with my Os for October shirt on undermeath. Let's go!
  9. We played Denver twice this year as well. Atlanta just threw up 400 yards passing and Joe is on fire right now. This statement is far from the truth.
  10. For the record, I hope RG3 has a speedy recovery. He is a joy to watch.
  11. Tackles? Seriously? Its a made up statistic. There is no way you can compare players based on that. Let's talk about game changing plays. How many game changing plays in crucial situations has London Fletcher made? You know why Ray Lewis has a highlight reel on ESPN? Because he has made some of the most insane plays in some of the biggest moments. I don't see a London Fletcher highlight reel on ESPN, NFL Network, Fox. No where. Why? Because he was never a big time player. He has had a solid career, he has made plays on the football field being a MLB. I don't see him making his tea
  12. Get back to work. When they are designed runs, he will take more hits than when he is just scrambling off a broken play. He took a lot of big hits this year, I am sure you watched plenty of Redskins football this year to see that. If he takes that many hits each year, he is going to get hurt each year. Something needs to change in the offensive approach so he can be protected. If he is such a great pocket passer, they can do without the read-option or at least use it less. You might lose a little bit of Morris' effectiveness, but at least you can have a healthy QB for the entire season
  13. 10 rushes a game makes him injury prone.
  14. Denial of what? My point is the guys that we have on our team now can fill in for the older players that are dropping off. Suggs isn't injury prone. He got injured once and just came off being one of the best in the league last year. Rice is a middle aged RB? Ok. Pearce averaged 5 YPC as a rookie. Calling Kruger a JJ clone shows you have no idea what you are talking about. Flacco is the only QB in the history of the NFL to win a playoff game in his first 5 seasons. It's all about not have many holes on the team, and the Ravens have much easier holes to fill year after year which is
  15. What? He was horrible in the Dallas game.
  16. It makes it prone to happen again. Once a concussion occurs, it can happen more frequent. Also, you said he only runs when necessary. He set the record for most rushing yards by a rookie QB. I would say he ran more than you let on. If they are going to keep the Pistol formation and read-options, he is going to get hit a ton and it will be hard for him to complete a full season.
  17. Ray Rice, Suggs, Pearce, Ellerbe, Kruger (if extended), Flacco, Smith, Webb... That is plenty of impact players in their prime or heading towards their prime for me to call them young. Ed Reed is a shell of himself now and Ray Lewis missed almost all of the season. Name me the impact players that are dropping off or passed their prime? Reed, Lewis, Ngata? Ravens have plenty of talent on the right side of their careers to keep it up, the QB being the main position. The offense is still capable of getting better and the defense was down for pretty much the whole year and they still won t
  18. Don't forget about the concussion.
  19. How is the window closing? The Ravens are still a very young team with a young core. Don't fool yourself. I think that noise you are hearing is the artificial crowd noise during the Redskins game. http://deadspin.com/5973735/the-redskins-may-have-been-pumping-artificial-crowd-noise-into-the-stadium-during-yesterdays-game?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow
  20. I would not agree that they were similar players based on production.
  21. Of course we will see when he is eligible. We will with every player that retires.
  22. It says something about his abilities, but no way in hell is he a top 10 linebacker of all time. No chance he gets in the HOF either.
