  1. I’ve mentioned it before in other threads about this game, but it’ll always hold a very special place in my heart. I started watching the game on my phone while at my family members birthday party, and saw the incredible conclusion at the bar waiting for the NJ Devils playoff game to begin. Not long after the game ended, I received a call from my wife who informed me she was going into labor with our first child. Being the typical nervous wreck most men turn into in such a scenario, I rushed home to pack up and head to the hospital. I dropped my wife off in the er, and went off to find a parking spot as close to the front door as possible. Due to the situation, I tried parking in a spot I wouldn’t have normally parked in due to how tight it was. But I had to get back to avoid missing the greatest moment of my life, so I tried to squeeze my giant truck into a spot that would barely accommodate a smart car. Needless to say, it didn’t work out as planned, and I ended up bumping into one of the cars parked in an adjacent spot. The car ended up belonging to the er nurse who started checking my wife in. As we both ran out to assess the damage, I noticed a small Red Sox sticker on the bumper of the nurses car. I directed his attention to the obnoxious orioles sticker on the back of my truck, and apologized for adding insult to injury. We both laughed, and he rushed me into the maternity area to await the arrival of my daughter Aubrey. Aubrey made her first trip to Camden Yards when she was 9 months old. Three years later, we welcomed our second daughter, Bailey. From our maternity room, I logged into MLB tv and watched the zero attendance game during the riots. Needless to say, my daughters births and the orioles will always have a special connection.
  2. At this point, I think they should be forced to tie their pitching arms behind their backs.
  3. Was going to say the same thing. MLB.TV and their At Bat apps have really declined this year.
  4. I'll be there for the last two home games. Wish I could do more.
  5. But mommy, he started it.
  6. This team is never out of it.
  7. You misspelled Hillary Clinton.
  8. I agree and apologize for dragging it further off the rails. To continue on topic I think this was very good outcome. I'm very excited and look forward to celebrating the start of the season with you guys on April 4.
  9. Which is fine and honorable. That being said, you seem to be ignoring the fact that the majority of his information has been pretty darn accurate. Think of it this way, how often do the national media guys get this stuff completely wrong? I'm fairly certain they have contacts "on the inside".
  10. Wow bud, you're actually starting to sound a bit creepy. Why can't you just sit back and chuckle while you watch the rest of us eat this stuff up? I don't want to speak for everyone, but I'm sure we're all the slightest bit skeptical when someone claims to have insider information. Some of us may choose to take it as fact more so than others. It seems like you're picking a needless fight. Don't believe him if you'd like, but stop pestering the poor guy/gal.
  11. According to Rotoworld, it looks like he avoided surgery. As of June 17, he was still "contemplating surgery". http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/mlb/3565/cliff-lee
  12. Forgive me if this has been mentioned already, but is anyone able to use the forward/sell on stubhub options in the My Tickets section? I had something come up for Saturday and won't be able to attend. I wonder if it has something to do with the dates and times being listed as TBD?
  13. I'm going to come right out and say it. Birdland and posters like him/her should no longer be able to contribute to the game threads. They absolutely ruin any chance of having a good time. But I digress. Thank you to Buck and his guys for an amazing season so far. Let's keep this going!

Then turn off the game and cease posting. I think you could use a nap.
