  1. Happy new year. I thought I was the only 1 that called it that haha.
  2. Nice list. I don't necessarily agree with the order or a couple of the plays either but fun to watch. Some great calls there by Gary Thorne. He has his flaws of course but I wouldn't want to listen to anyone else really. Mercy

I was at both games last night and while I'm no scout it looked like his curve was thrown for a lot of strikes and seemed to be his best pitch. The last inning was some bad luck. The 1st baserunner was a groundball to short that was beat out and the 2nd was a swinging bunt. He then got a K and was taken out. Gilmartin came in and promptly let both score. I was disappointed Akin didnt start game 2 but I just saw he was listed as the starter today so I'm heading back.
  4. Try being an O's fan living in NY state. You will really know what yankee hate is.
  5. He was definitely sent
  6. Guys is there anyway to get in to watch the intersquad games? We got to the field a little later than we wanted today and the players all went in early because of the game later. Kinda bummed because we are flying home tomorrow and this was our only chance to get to watch any practice.
  7. Thanks for the link. Lots of good info in there
  8. Hi guys, My wife and I are heading to FL with our 2 daughters in the middle of this month. We are taking them to Disney and then to the beach for a couple days. We'll be leaving Orlando on Feb 21st and I was thinking we could spend that day in Sarasota since we will be passing right by. I know there aren't any games yet but I'm having a hard time finding much info on how the O's spring training works. We go to Baltimore for at least 1 or 2 series a year but have never been to spring training. My daughters are 6 and 8 and are really exited about it. They love the o's. My oldest daughter has a 8x10 of Manny and Schoop doing their handshake and is convinced she is going to get it signed by both of them. Any chance of that happening? Manny is by far her favorite player. She has his jersey, pictures, cards etc. Any info or tips on family friendly things to do there would be really appreciated. I don't know if there is really any access to the players but if they could get a few autographs it would make their day. Thanks Jim
  9. Thanks for posting that. Chris is a funny dude.
  10. Does that include October?
  11. I agree about the pace. Friday was a rough one. Woke up at 5 am got the kids up an hr or so later, packed the car and on the road by 730. Got to Baltimore and checked in the hotel about 3 and tried to get the kids to take a nap. That didn't work at all. The game was so slow and with such a late start time my 3 and 6 year old girls were miserable by the 8th. By the 9th my wife ended up taking them back to the hotel and left me to suffer the 10th alone. Usually they do great and they did do much better Saturday though.
  12. Thanks I'm pretty pumped about it. Row 10 too. Just happened to look at this thread before I checked stub hub and eBay for about the 25th time today. No luck for Saturday yet though.
