  1. I read a lot of the Minor League Summaries and really appreciated them. Thank you Chuck!
  2. If tied goes by 2019 standings? If so O's won 54 and Arizona 87.
  3. I gave it a B. Cowser looks like a great bat and I like most of the bats selected, very good BB to K rates, high OBP, power. There were a couple .260-ish hitters that I am not a fan of. The pitchers were mostly tall, big SPs which I like, but a couple of smaller guys and not a fan of taking somebody who is already a relief pitcher. I prefer college players to high school so fine with that.
  4. I would take Rocker and just carefully manage his innings. Guy is electric, in this day and age let him be a 4 inning pitcher, that's valuable.
  5. Solid OBP guy in minors, should be respectable as a starter on this team and possibly have value as utility infielder on a better team.
  6. I think that is because both Galvis and Franco are hurt otherwise Urias would likely be at second. If those two are out for a while I hope to see Jones at 2B, Urias at SS and Leyba at 3B.
  7. The most logical and fairest approach to me is to combine last year's and this year's records, then sort lowest WP to highest for draft order and I think that is what they will do.
  8. I don't see MLB using this year's record by itself for draft order.
  9. Jorge Lopez has miserable MiLB and MLB statistics and a pretty average strikeout rate. What did Elias see? Is he a high spin rate guy? Had a killer changeup or feel that a changeup is all he needed? Thanks in advance.

  11. At this point I don't understand why they don't try to convert Davis to a relief pitcher. He was a good pitcher in high school with a fastball over 90 which he flashed the couple of times Buck used him in mop up. Unfortunately, he is done as a hitter.
  12. Does Davis get paid if he opts out? I assume he got a pro-rated salary if he plays.
  13. Do the Orioles not play the Yankees this short season?
  14. I felt since the last injury that when he came back his focus was on a nice, relaxed, smooth repeatable delivery, top velocity and results be damned. It always felt there was a whole lot more velocity there but he came to terms that the only way to stay healthy was a smooth, repeatable delivery and rely on command.
  15. The vaunted Sugar Land Skeeter offense, there is no way the Ducks survive that buzzsaw of a lineup.
  16. In just a couple of weeks we'll also be eliminated from the playoffs next year too.
  17. Davis' 90 MPH fastball coming out of high school was 91% percentile, 84 MPH was class average for prospects. Immediately after the season they should convert him to a reliever and see if he can develop enough to have some value at some point. That's if they can't agree to a buyout.
  18. Keep him. With Trumbo gone and likely something to be done with Davis postseason, not quite the 1B/DH logjam there once was. Mancini, Renato, Montcastle on the way. 19. No, Betts' triple. Didn't look like Mancini got a glove on it, look like it hit above the yellow line and bounced back in.
