  1. Man, that must've been a sight to see! I'm closer to the OP far as thing I've never seen an Oriole accomplish. Us late 80's babies had it rough! Haha
  2. That's my point, it wasn't just the playoff loss. It was other games as I stated in the post. Guess we'll see what he's really made of since I'm sure we'll come back down to earth this year. But I'm all for another historical run, but I wouldn't bet on it. Greg Roman for me leaves a lot to be desired as I believe 90% of his success was because Lamar is an out of this world player.
  3. But why? He's showed you two years in a row that he has no in-game adjustments whatsoever. Has Red Thor (Hayden Hurst) who can catch and runs pretty fast, yet doesn't find a way to get him involved in the gameplan. That's the last Ravens coach I'd want to get an multiple year extension unless he vastly improves his gameplans. Sure it looks crazy that I'm saying this amist an historic offensive season, but let's not forget it completely crumbles under adversity. Showed up pretty well in our two losses. (And playoff game of 2018 when he was "Run coordinator"). With that said though, I'm ecstatic about the Wink extension. Well deserved with make-shift pass rushers and linebackers. Wasn't looking too good with Jefferson back there and Chuck came in and helped save the season.
  4. I can hear the fraudulence coming from his voice through the link sent. Like one of the above posters stated, I too don't care what comes out of Manfraud's mouth. And to @atomic he'll at least survive the season.
  5. Manfraud is the biggest of idiots. Glad Bauer spazzed on his goofy self.
  6. Super stupid. But it will be funny to see a team handpick their opponent and lose. The Cowboys did that to the Ravens to close out their old stadium and got dealt with. But I'm not a fan of this proposed playoff goofiness.
  7. Depends what you're looking for. I use a ton of places! Micro Center (For most PC related items) Walmart Newegg Amazon Just depends what you're going for. Got my TV from Best Buy.
  8. 2012 will forever hold a special place in my heart. It hold special value because it was completely unexpected. A friend and myself was having a conversation about the last game of 2011 when Andino hit that game-winner to eliminate the Redsox. We were like "I wish this celebration was for us going to the playoffs or World Series instead of this meaningless win". And then bam... 2012 happened. What a ride! 2014 just breaks my heart.
  9. We deserve a championship. I'm still angry about 2015 with Duquette committing sporting treason and trying to sell the world on Travis Synder. So to right the wrongs of yesteryear, I wanna hear Joe Buck joyfully yelling "And the Baltimore Orioles are champions again" ! Then hearing Orioles magic playing over the loud speaker. I seent it in mah dreamz!
  10. MASN would probably have a lot more viewers if that stupid blackout didn't exist and they started an app for streaming. Don't understand why these folks are leaving good money on the table!
  11. Just wish they would leave my baseball alone. If that's the strats the team and Manager wanna use, so be it. Already got that hippy shift that everyone loves doing now. And the DH should stay AL exclusive. Don't @ me!

    Jealous

I'm personally jealous of this! Screw them Nationals. (Congrats though) I don't take sports THAT serious, but I'd probably cry if I ever saw the Orioles win a World Series. Nothing that I've ever seen in person compared to the playoff series against the Yankees in 2012. Even though Jim Johnson blew it in the 9th, that was by far one of the best Orioles experiences I've ever had down at the park. Could only imagine what it would feel like with a World Series win in Baltimore. The feels...
  13. Clayton Kershaw is trash, lol
  14. You're right! Get rid of all of em!
  15. What a disaster. If I never saw anyone from the bullpen again, I wouldn't be upset. Jeez almighty!
  16. I'm still salty about the Hess game. Orioles were playing for history in a season full of nothing. Still don't understand what it was going to hurt. We won't remember how many games we loss 40-2, but in a season full of ups and downs, we would have remembered that surgical no-hitter robbed from us on 4/1.
  17. Damn, sending well wishes to the G.O.A.T.
  18. At this point do anyone believe the Orioles are gonna purse another appeal? Looks like it would be wasted money given both outcomes. I won't pretend to know what's going on with the lawyer jargon, but sounds like the Orioles are getting mixture of playing themselves and getting finessed.
  19. Do you know what he's currently taking now? And if he was put back on Adderall if not already on it, will it help him reclaim his once short greatness?
  20. Damn, looks like the party is over. Gonna miss the Deputy and the fun first couple of years. Sad to see it end this way, but that's how life goes.
  21. Went to a few games as a child in the early 90s. Was a casual fan for the most part until '98-'99 that's when I really found my love for baseball and the O's.
  22. With the arrogance of Manfred and MLB, it wouldn't surprise me if they attempted such a thing. While I'm more inclined to believe the O's aren't going anywhere, I wouldn't be shocked whatsoever if they did.
  23. Man... this is all a business. If it makes business sense, the Orioles will be outta here on the first thing smoking. While I want to believe that the rich history of the Orioles will forever stay in Baltimore, the times have changed but the money game hasn't. I wouldn't be surprised if they stay or go. And all this "We're not going anywhere" is nothing more than coach speak. The Front Office isn't going to show their cards IF something is really in the workings. I just pray nothing is in the works because I love my O's.
