What do you guys think about watching NFL games in the stadium?
Chuck Toedan replied to Hallas's topic in Ravens
I say go. Unless you have a bunch of people and can party at your place, might as well go and experience it live once, especially since the Ravens don't get out there too often. Use a site like Aviewfrommyseat or some site like that and see your view before you buy the tickets. My seats are one step away from heaven but we are in the corner of the end zone and have a fantastic view despite sometimes feeling like we need an oxygen tank. -
Interesting..... Thanks for sharing.

I'm going to take my girlfriend and her son down tonight. It will be his first time at the yard, figured it would be great for him to sit beside some rabid O's fans (I put up with Boston dirt bags on my last season ticket date). Hope to see a fair amount of OHers there!

Should we be concerned with attendance numbers yet?
Chuck Toedan replied to Aglets's topic in Orioles Talk
It should also be noted that in the 13 game package that I have there have already been 8 games used. That's a lot quicker than the past few years. I know they usually put more at the beginning of the schedule but for a while there I had a game every week to week and a half. Wonder if they had an idea that the season could start slow or if they usually start one plan like this, and this is just my year of going through so many so early (which is fine by me I have a harder time going because work come August) -
With a win today we will be a seventh of the way to the postseason. Let's go smash a crown! :thumbsup1:

I've been to several parks with the open concourse, and while it varied on how the concourse affects the experience, and whether I enjoyed it or not, every one of them I also said to myself, I wish that they had seats right here for me to sit and enjoy the game. I rather them do something with the upper deck to have the sights, sounds, smells, etc. of the lower bowl then cut open the lower bowl. Also stepping up technology is a must....wifi, better screens, scoreboards, sound system, etc. Those things date pretty quick and its worth the investment to upgrade upon. I really like NashLumber's pic. That's something that really should be looked into. p.s. Also I'm in favor of losing the Team Store and Dempsey's signs. The boardwalk/main street type of signs on the inside of the park kinda take away from the retro and intimate ambiance. (outside the stadium is fine)
