  1. I say go. Unless you have a bunch of people and can party at your place, might as well go and experience it live once, especially since the Ravens don't get out there too often. Use a site like Aviewfrommyseat or some site like that and see your view before you buy the tickets. My seats are one step away from heaven but we are in the corner of the end zone and have a fantastic view despite sometimes feeling like we need an oxygen tank.
  2. I'm going to take my girlfriend and her son down tonight. It will be his first time at the yard, figured it would be great for him to sit beside some rabid O's fans (I put up with Boston dirt bags on my last season ticket date). Hope to see a fair amount of OHers there!
  3. It should also be noted that in the 13 game package that I have there have already been 8 games used. That's a lot quicker than the past few years. I know they usually put more at the beginning of the schedule but for a while there I had a game every week to week and a half. Wonder if they had an idea that the season could start slow or if they usually start one plan like this, and this is just my year of going through so many so early (which is fine by me I have a harder time going because work come August)
  4. My condolences goes out to Buck and family.

  6. Dagnabit! I was really liking the Sox stinking up the place too.
  7. I've been to several parks with the open concourse, and while it varied on how the concourse affects the experience, and whether I enjoyed it or not, every one of them I also said to myself, I wish that they had seats right here for me to sit and enjoy the game. I rather them do something with the upper deck to have the sights, sounds, smells, etc. of the lower bowl then cut open the lower bowl. Also stepping up technology is a must....wifi, better screens, scoreboards, sound system, etc. Those things date pretty quick and its worth the investment to upgrade upon. I really like NashLumber's pic. That's something that really should be looked into. p.s. Also I'm in favor of losing the Team Store and Dempsey's signs. The boardwalk/main street type of signs on the inside of the park kinda take away from the retro and intimate ambiance. (outside the stadium is fine)

  9. Woohoo I'm going along with 9 coworkers/family. Row 15. I'm going to be in seat 13 or 14. I had a blast when I went to a hangout night last year. Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk

  12. http://forum.orioleshangout.com/forums/showthread.php/148539-Take-the-Time-to-Watch-This?p=3823193#post3823193 Since you're now a Cub, I guess this is over. I think at last count it was at 20 or 21 innings, I'll go ahead and about double it and donate $50. Good luck in Chicago.
  13. I look at it this way, I pay $150 a month for cable. I only have cable so I can watch baseball/ occasional football. So for $25 a month for roughly six months would only be 1 mon th of cable that I would drop, saving me roughly $1650. I'd do that in a heartbeat, especially if it could be opted to pay just 1 team. MLB and their blackout rule really stinks and is probably hurting them a bit at this point in time, and will def. hurt them in the long run.
