  1. He's the one guy that knows he will be playing for a contender come August so it makes sense that he's still enthusiastic. Everyone else probably just wants this season to be over already.
  2. Yeah there has been a lot of off days but that's because the Tigers series was a sweep. Tonight's postponement may help though if the O's can win a few games in KC. 5 days, 5 games, assuming the series goes that long and there are no more weather issues.
  3. Just saw 2 tickets on stubhub in section 19 for $20.
  4. I think there are 25 rows in the 300 level. I guess the last few would be somewhat covered.
  5. Game 1 tickets have dropped big time on stubhub. I'm guessing due to the weather. I'm seeing a pair in the eutaw street bleachers for as low as $123.
  6. Accuweather is showing the rain starting around 6 or 7 and continuing into Sat morning. Justin Berk's post shows a similar scenario and he notes that game 1 will be "in jeopardy". Take it for what it's worth.
  7. I do it all the time during the season typically on weeknights. You can get right up to the railing above the RF scoreboard. I wouldn't suggest it for a playoff game though. Unless you get in there super early and get a spot up along the rail and don't move for the entire game, you are likely to be behind multiple rows of people weaving around trying to get a view of the game. It would be fine if you want to go just for the experience but if you actually want to watch the game I wouldn't recommend it.
  8. I'm pretty sure when I registered for the presales I checked all 3 boxes for the ALDS, ALCS and WS. Here is what the O's website says for the ALCS: ALCS REGISTRATION PERIOD BEGINS: 12 p.m. ET, Tuesday, September 9, 2014 ALCS REGISTRATION PERIOD ENDS: 11:59 p.m. ET, Sunday, October 5, 2014 ALCS RANDOM DRAWING: On or around Tuesday, October 7, 2014 ALCS DRAWING WINNERS NOTIFIED VIA E-MAIL BY: By 11:59 p.m. ET, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 ALCS SALE FOR DRAWING WINNERS: Details will be communicated via e-mail notification.
  9. You're fine. There are only two games on Thursday. No reason to start any earlier than 5:30 or 6
  10. I got through. The only thing available for Friday's game are single seats...nothing together. I was able to get 4 together for Thursday in section 376. That was the best available for 4 together.
  11. The times listed on their websites are just placeholders. I wouldn't put too much stock in it.
  12. I disagree. The NL wild card game is Wednesday, Thursday is their travel day with their game 1 in Washington Friday. It makes more sense to me to play that one early since the Os and Tigers will have played Thursday night. Why wouldn't they give 2 teams that played the night before a few extra hours rest?
  13. IMO the upper level seats are fine if you are in the first 10 or so rows. Above that, I'd rather just watch on TV or find a good spot in the standing sections which will be basically impossible for playoff games.
  14. Do you think that many people put a deposit down for 2015 to be eligible for the first presale? I can't imagine any of the games will be sold out for Saturday's presale.
  15. I just got my notification for the presale that begins at 10am on Saturday....wooohooo
