Mostly he's pretty handcuffed by talent and recent usage. It just makes me mad he KEEPS sending Givens out for 4 or 5 outs. It's rarely worked.

I'm still shocked that Givens wasn't moved

These I put in at 130 for an hour, I'll finish in a smoking hot pan to get a quick crust.

Do you put any  seasoning on them? I normally put Montreal steak spice on my beef.

  3. Maybe he really liked the last season of game of thornes. Maybe he thought the hobbit trilogy should have been 3 movies and not two. Maybe Hyde thinks Khole is the best Kardashian sister? Maybe Hyde likes Beyoncé more than most people and was signing it to himself in the dugout. Maybe Hyde pointed out that he got the first pick in the team's fantasy football draft and Chris didn't. Maybe Hyde just speaks in Shrek quotes and Davis finally got mad of being called "Onion boy" or "Donkey". Who knows, man?

At this point I'd have to see him maintain a real hot streak through April or May of next year, and at Bowie, before I consider his profile changed.

    He's in Norfolk right now.

Mountcastle hit his 17th homer today, but no walks and he struck out once so we should probably release him. 😂

I can't wait for OH to complain that he doesn't take walks just like they did with AJ.

Frankly, for Law to say Wells has a chance to be a back end starter is about the most complimentary thing he’s said about any Orioles prospect all year.

Means he'll be a TOR starter and Cy Young candidate, right? 😉

Had an opportunity to see them both play a couple games this weekend in Durham. Just based on the eye test, Hays was the best player on the team...and second place (perhaps Mason Williams?) wasn’t close. The ball screams off his bat. Makes solid contact. Even his outs are loud.

Unfortunately, Mountcastle was a non-factor. His contact was routine ground outs. I’ve also seen him a bunch of times in the past as well. For my money, while I absolutely hold out hope for the kid, I think his MLB ceiling is Mancini - if everything falls into place. I would almost be willing to include him in a trade if something comes available that is worth getting...perhaps down the road.

All in all, I didn’t see much in Norfolk that gets me excited.

I've seen Mountcastle MASH at Harbor Park in Norfolk. He's hit 2 HR's when I've seen him and i love how quick his swing is. It's strong, compact and he follows through. A lot of power and he uses all fields. Maybe you just saw him on a bad day.

I'm more questioning promoting Grenier than not promoting Hall.  How often do you see two position players playing the same position at the same level and the one that is not performing as well gets promoted?

I think it might be giving time to Hall at SS. They've been mainly playing him at 2B, might want to test him at SS and see how he plays there

Mullins’ fall from grace this year has been a hugely negative development.  Last year he managed .875 OPS at Bowie, .771 at Norfolk, .671 in Baltimore.    It seemed pretty reasonable to think he’d be adequate this year.   Instead, we’ve been treated to .337(!) in Baltimore and .631 at Norfolk.    I have no idea what’s happened to the guy.

Watched him last night in Norfolk. Was trying to pull the ball to much and going for power moreso than he did when I first saw him last year. Also saw Mountcastle sneak a HR out in Harbor Park last night. Sweet swing with amazing follow through. Back on topic, love what Santander has been doing so far. Turns out keeping him was a good idea and he just needed some MiLB seasoning. Bet the Indians wish they had kept him.
