OFFNY Report post Posted April 11, 2012 o Garcia is crossing Russell Martin up. I'm surprised that he hasn't complained to the umpire.

LA2 Report post Posted April 11, 2012 Hate to say this, but as bad as Garcia is pitching we shd be up more than 3-1.
allquixotic Report post Posted April 11, 2012 I think you missed something. Martin never caught the ball. Thanks for the explanation LOL. That's what I was missing! I totally saw Russell Martin tag AJ on the jersey and I was like OH SHHHH.... And wow, Reynolds struck out by a guy who throws the ball in the opposite batter's box. What the heck dude? crissfan172 Report post Posted April 11, 2012 Hate to say this, but as bad as Garcia is pitching we shd be up more than 3-1. The big strike zone is keeping them in it. It's hard to score runs when pitches in the other batter's box are strikes.
jonesing4pie Report post Posted April 11, 2012 Hate to say this, but as bad as Garcia is pitching we shd be up more than 3-1. Was about to say this. There are reasons for it and I know it just goes along with our overall inability, but we seem to always fail to take full advantage of mistakes and off-games of players. If the Yankees were facing one of our pitchers who was struggling as much as Garcia they would have put 7 or 8 runs across. I know its a huge generalization but its true.
