If you are hoping to buy game used merchandise from the Orioles, you should head up the escalators to the second level (which is where that merchandise typically is sold). It is pretty popular and things sell out, so I suggest you make that a first stop for you. For about $20 they sell banners that were posted around the stadium, which is a good deal, IMO.

Are you Allowed to ask Dan questions ? It woul be almost worth it to go if i could ask him why they're cutting payroll.

Knock yourself out. He won't answer the question and will only say he has enough to compete.

This. I believe the exact wording is "Ownership gives us a budget and we build the team. We have never been told NO by Ownership when it comes to player acquisitions."

Am I close?

If you really wanted to ask a question like that, you are better off referencing the Johnson trade (re-allocating resources) and Duquettes own past comments (payroll will go up from 2013) and asking why that specifically has not occurred to this point.

Since this is my first fan fest I have a couple questions if anyone can help.

1 - Do they allow strollers / bags?

2 - Is there food available inside the convention center?

3 - Are you allowed to leave and come back?

1) yes and yes

2) yes but depending on the crowd the line gets huge! Last year there was a deli like place, an ice cream dots place... and vendors selling hot dogs... I was stuck in lines so I did not see what else was available...

3) yes,,, make sure you get a stamp ( on hand) as you leave

The Panels strike me as less interesting than usual.

10:30 Dan & Buck (season ticket holders only)

11:15 Players' offseason hobbies (really?) (Hardy, Hunter, O'Day, Tillman)

12:00 Manager and coaches

12:45 New faces (Brach, Hendriks, Lough, Webb, Weeks)

1:20 Pitching coaches and pitchers (Gausman, Gonzalez, Matusz, McFarland, Norris)

2:00 Hitting coach and hitters (Davis, Jones, Markakis)

2:35 Bubble gum challenge with Adam Jones (OK, that could be funny)

3:05 Fielding coaches and Machado and Wieters

3:45 60th Anniverary panel

4:30 Scouting and player development

5:10 Media

In the past, the GM/Manager did a panel for the season ticket holders and then another panel for the general public a couple of hours later. Here, after the season ticket session, Buck is appearing with his coaches, and Dan is appearing lat in the day with the scouting and player development staff.

I predict the Orioles will do the cheesy thing and announce a signing at Fanfest (i.e Arroyo) with aspirations that it might sell a couple of extra tickets.
