I think that this was the Seattle offer. From recent previous posts/reports Clement was not included in a Seattle offer. If this is the case, then the Angels offer is better imho. We would still need a CF though, so perhaps they do this deal now knowing that Pie could come back in a Roberts deal.

I still think Adam Jones is a better athlete than Pie is. Id prefer Jones to Pie.

Would you rather have him or Wood at SS? Before you answer, remember we need a 2B after Brob is dealt and Aybar fits perfectly there. Now Cedeno could be our 2B, but can we also get him with Pie?

To answer that, it would depend on what happens with second base.

I see merit in having Wood or Aybar at SS.

Mora needs to be dealt as well.

Gotta disagree. How do you figure Aybar is a .300 hitter? I think he's most likely a .270 type hitter (optimistically) with a low OBP. Looks like a bottom of the order hitter to me, but he is supposed to be talented on defense so overall he might be an average SS.
