OK, so it looks like Detroit

Recommended Posts

Man, Detroit left the door wide open and K.C. just couldn't walk through. Doubt they'll get another shot.

Yeah...that is disappointing. Boo

Well on the flip side, the A's have left the door open for the Mariners. Lets see if we can get two tie-breaker games tomorrow.

But what have we done against the Tigers this year? Answer: not much. Factor in we have lost Manny's bat and defense as well as Davis...I am extremely worried. It will be really disappointing if we go through all this winning of the division only to get knocked out one and done.
It hasn't been made abundantly clear to you that we're a different team since April?

We should be concerned about whatever opponent we face in the playoffs, but have optimism that we can win. There will naturally be hand-wringing from the masses during those games.

This isn't a baseball analysis comment at all, but I'm kind of happy it's the Tigers. If it's an Orioles-Royals series, the storyline is like "isn't that cute? What a craaaazy year for those two little clubs to be playing each other", or "wow, the TBS ratings people must be slitting their wrists." Orioles-Tigers is more like, "the O's have arrived and they're playing the big boys." Now let's take them down!
