Just saw that on Jan. 7, the First Department of the NY Appellate Division denied a request by MASN and the Orioles for reargument or alternatively leave to appeal to the NY Court of Appeals (NY’s highest court). I don’t know if that means there is no other avenue to seek relief at the Court of Appeals, but the chances there are extremely slim in any event.
Not sure how the numbers ended up:

Btw, Lamar also doesn’t DVoA great job of reading defenses imo. He locks onto receivers too often. He doesn’t do a good job of looking off the safety and things like that. He isnt manipulating the coverage like so many QBs are able to.
Not saying he can’t do those things but it does add to it.
We can all play along at home like Garry Kasparov or Magnus Carlsen, but I'm pretty sure clubs are trying to get AI on this case. Go Sig - do a good job!
There is definitely some Dead Poets Society chart measuring the greatness of a fastball by spin + velocity. Its probably a relic already.
Same for me. 😛
Except Jake will be way above Elias' budget. Best we can hope for is Arrieta can still pitch in a few years and the Orioles sign him to fill out the rotation in 2023 or 2024.
Roch quoted Elias from a zoom call saying that they already had an agreement with Galvis before the injury. Said it had nothing to do with it.
He also said Martin may miss some Spring, but it would not affect his start of the regular season.
